When visiting Karachi travel in a rickshaw. Its a fun ride and is least expensive. Local Bus Service and Old Taxi Service (Yellow Cab / Black Cab) is not quite satisfactory in Karachi because they are non airconditioned, not metered or having fast meters. So Visitors are advised to use following air conditioned CAB services for moving from Air Port to Hotel or from Hotel to any specific location.At Karachi Airport you can find various booths of these Taxi Service providers.Fare is Rs. 15/ km. You may hire for the whole day for about Rs. 1500 / for 7 hours or 100 kms.METRO CAB Tel. President Zardari in Tokyo on Official Visit

President Asif Ali Zardari arrived here on Monday on a three day official visit to Japan.  The President is visiting Japan at the invitation of Prime Minister of Japan Naoto Kan, to further strengthen the cordial relations between the two countries and open new avenues of cooperation. Shabana Akhtar (born April 5, 1972) appeared on the Pakistan National Athletics scene in 1989 when she became the national champion in 100M and 200M. She also became the national champion in 4x100M Relay, 4×400 Relay, 400M, long jump and high jump during 1992 and maintains her record even today. She won a total number of 42 gold medals. She is also the first Pakistani female athlete to participate at the Olympics, when she competed in the women’s long jump at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta.   Naseem Hamid comes from an impoverished slum in Pakistan’s biggest city of Karachi. The 22-year-old became South Asia’s fastest woman by winning the 100-metre in the 11 th South Asian Federation Games (SAF) in Dhaka on February 8 th 2010.
