You will see a lot of old obsolete fighter aircrafts, occassionally a train passing near the museum, and automobiles in the evening spraying insecticides to kill the "bloody" mosquitoes.Situated near the main thoroughfare, Shara-e-Faisal, therefore the base itself is called Shah Faisal Base. Pakistan Air Force Museum is situated between PAF Base Faisal and Awami Markaz on main Shahra-e-Faisal. It is well organized Museum. All area is carpetted by green grass. All major Fighter Air Crafts which are used by Paksitan Air Force are displayed here in open air. There are photo galleries, weapon galleries in a huge covered hall (hanger). Some air crafts are also kept in hall.
